Your Happiness Is Stolen By Yourself
If life has already handed you every bit of joy you’ve ever wished for, feel free to scroll past. But if you’re still searching for meaning, for happiness, or even just a moment of calm stay a little longer. Let’s explore something together. Still hesitating? Think this is just another silly piece? Trust me happiness is deep, deeper than any philosophy.

A great Indian poet, Harindranath Chattopadhyaya, once posted a question in his famous poem The Earthen Goblet:
"O silent goblet, red from head to heel,
How did you feel
When you were being twirled
Upon the potter’s wheel
Before the potter gave you to the world?"
Before we get to the goblet’s answer, pause for a moment. How do you feel a fine, marvellous goblet compared to a mere lump of clay? What a privilege to be shaped on the great potter’s wheel, right? Yet, in today’s world, it feels the same way with society. A man in a fine suit with a high-paying job is praised more than someone living simply peacefully.

We’re led to believe that happiness only belongs to the "successful" not what you need. But let’s return to the poem:
"I used to feel
The fragrant friendship of a little flower
Whose root was in my bosom buried deep."
Back then, as a simple lump of clay, the goblet felt the joy of nature a little flower blooming from within, breathing fresh air, bearing petals. It lived a rich, meaningful life just being itself. Isn’t that what we all truly seek?

Every person has a dream, a passion. Even thinking about it brings a spark to our face. That’s happiness. Not in status, not in riches but in being your true self, surrounded by people who care, doing what lights up your heart, seeking really who are you.
You and I we're more than shaped clay. We're living dreams. And happiness is already with us, waiting to be noticed.
Also, this journey isn’t about becoming perfect in someone else’s eyes. Maybe it’s about rediscovering the happiness that was already there inside you all along.

And if you’re someone who’s been pretending putting on a smile while carrying quiet pain, or waiting for someone else to fill the emptiness within you’re not alone. If you’ve tied your happiness to a person, maybe it’s time to ask yourself “Is it easy to hold more”
Happiness doesn’t live in someone else’s hands. It’s not found in their texts, their approval, or their presence. It lives in your breath, your dreams, your courage to begin again. Even if everything feels broken now, even if your heart is still trying to understand what went wrong, you can still come home to yourself.

Let go gently. Heal slowly. And remember, like the earthen goblet once filled with the scent of a flower you too have your own fragrance, your own quiet beauty, just by being you and doing what you really need.
You deserve happiness. Not because of who loves you or who judge you as rich But because you are living in your dream.
