Monster Mash
After being stuck in a virtual context for more than two years everyone was excited to get along with a physical event hoping to build up a cohesive club community. In celebration of Halloween, ‘Monster Mash’ was a novel initiative organized by the Club Service avenue of Rotaract Club of University of Moratuwa. As we all know Rotaract Mora is a club that has a long-standing reputation for its hard work and dedication toward club service in order to build & maintain a super positive relationship with fellow Rotaractors and undergraduates of the university.
This event took place on the 2nd of November 2022 from 7.30 p.m. onwards to midnight at the Old Gym premises. The Halloween night consisted of a horror film, face painting, and many more entertaining segments wrapping up the day’s event with a perky lively DJ session.
Surprising the organizing committee with over 450 participants, ‘Monster Mash’ was one of the finest events that took place in a physical format which shattered all boundaries of the so-called virtual world that we were stuck in for more than two years. In conclusion, it can be said with immense pleasure that the event was more successful than expected with the outnumbering crowd and the positive feedback received from the participants who had enjoyed the night to the fullest. With the optimism for brainstorming many such events, the Rotaract Club of University of Moratuwa looks forward to giving life to many physical projects in the future.
